The Vina Dular Winery

It used to be a big restaurant, and now it is “what I love to do”. The home town of Kostanjek is 12 km from Krško, above Zdole village. In addition to the wonderful surroundings, it offers a good starting point for winegrowing, which the Dulars have been developing in close cohabitation with nature. From the soil into the vine, from the vine into the grapes, from the grapes into the wine, in a nature- and human-friendly manner – this is the motto of the owner, Bogdan Dular, who organically cultivates seven hectares of vineyards in no less than ten locations in the Sava Valley, the words written under the Dular wine brand.
 

Why visit Vina Dular?

You only go to Vina Dular for a wedding the first time, when the bride and groom say their wedding vows in a park that is so romantic, and the wedding pictures are taken on a terrace with such a beautiful view, and one can dance until the morning in a hall with such elegant settings for no less than 120 merry wedding guests. After that, you come back because of the sparkling wine that is already popped in the park, because of the Krško polje pig being baked on the terrace, because of the special wines accompanying each lovely course, because of the trip to the cellar ending with a full car boot, and because of the homemade salami with chilly and cheese from the little church on the adjacent hill, which everybody must try before going home.
