The A3 Restaurant

While most Slovenian castles are deserted and falling apart, things are alive and kicking at Rajhenburg! The castle has been renovated and is bustling with live events, Trappists, Primož Kozmus’ medals, permanent exhibitions, shows and top Posavje sparkling wines, and the castle atrium is so non-castle-like that it marvellously suits Rajhenburg! As the old castle has young residents, the castle walls in A3 have modern and fresh lines, and the castle’s banquet has refined shapes and elegant curves!

The castle’s visitors are happy because at A3 they enjoy a cosmopolitan plate of homemade krafi with capon meat and the house’s pljukanci with sturgeon, and then let themselves be seduced by the sweetness of the castle rose in the almond-featuring creation of the castle’s confectioner. And three young people are happy because they were given the opportunity at home to add freshness, passion and a future to history and tradition by offering huchen in fish stew with the Jerusalem artichoke and caviar, family trout with spelt and young goat cheese, and pork cheeks with blackberries in Blaufränkisch wine.
