Puhla pie with cracklings

Ingredients (for 8 people):
  • 500 g of flour
  • salt
  • 30 g of yeast
  • 100 ml of milk
  • water, cracklings
  • 3 eggs

Puhla with ”overheated cream”
1. Make bread dough from 500 g of flour.
2. Roll the dough out with a pin or stretch it out with your hands and place it on a baking tray.
3. Mix 100 g of cracklings, heated just enough to melt the fat, and 3 beaten eggs, then spread on the flat bread dough.
4. Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C until golden brown.

Puhla with cream
Alternatively, instead of eggs mixed with cracklings, you can top puhla with a mix of 3 beaten eggs, 2 spoons of sugar and 100 g of “overheated cream”.

Bake as puhla with cracklings.
