The Month of Posavje Flavours is a celebration of the region, its people, and its authentic tastes. Members of the Taste Posavje brand invite you to unique wine and culinary evenings, where outstanding gastronomy meets carefully selected wines, craft beer, local produce, and genuine hospitality.
At the heart of these events are the people who create the story of Posavje – restaurateurs, winemakers, brewers, farmers, cheesemakers, butchers, beekeepers, fruit growers, pastry chefs, and many other dedicated artisans of flavour. Their collaboration is not only the foundation of every culinary evening but also the key to the region’s long-term sustainable future. By strengthening local supply chains, respecting seasonality, and preserving knowledge and tradition, they are creating a story that supports the local economy, reduces environmental impact, and adds value for both visitors and the local community.
Every plate and every glass tells the story of Posavje – a region where quality grows from the land, tradition inspires contemporary cuisine, and collaboration creates experiences that stay with you long after your visit.
Taste Posavje brand has been built gradually, through small steps, from the ground up, evolving from modest achievements into widely recognised successes. Today, it brings together 23 providers from the Posavje region, jointly creating exceptional gastronomic experiences under the coordination and support of the Krško Centre for Entrepreneurship and Tourism.

As part of the Month of Posavje Flavours 2026, the region’s winemakers will once again join forces to present their finest wine labels at the 6th edition of Best Wines of Posavje.
What to expect at Best Wines of Posavje:
- At least 10 winemakers representing all three wine-growing districts of the Posavje Wine Region.
- More than 50 samples of their finest wines.
- Kunst’s »Open Kitchen beneath the Castle Arcades« (food not included in the ticket price).
Tickets (including tasting of at least 50 wine samples) are available at the advance price of €30.00 until 19 August 2026 (inclusive).
